At North River Siberians, we are dedicated to ethical breeding practices that prioritize the health, temperament, and structure of our Siberian Huskies. We strictly follow the SHCA Guidelines for Ethical Breeding Practices, ensuring that all breeding dogs undergo comprehensive health testing. This includes annual eye exams by a Board-Certified ACVO Ophthalmologist, hip evaluations through OFA, PennHIP, or an equivalent registry, and genetic testing for Siberian Husky Shaking Puppy Syndrome (SPS1) and Siberian Husky Polyneuropathy (SHPN1), along with some additional testing, with results registered through OFA. Our puppies are raised in a nurturing environment and are carefully evaluated at 8 weeks old for structure and temperament. This allows us to match each puppy to the most suitable home, whether for show, sport, or companionship.
